Why Surfacing?
Our bodies consist of, are fed, and fueled by energy. We believe each person has the necessary energy to bring their bodies back to balance. Chinese medicine assists the body balance the energy, allowing it to surface and flow bringing the body back to Wellness and Health.
Lisa Reichert, L.Ac
Lisa Reichert combines nearly 20 years of psychology, arts, therapeutics and Oriental Medicine experience in her current practice. She enhanced her therapeutic abilities using art therapy among individuals, couples, groups and children coping with terminal & chronic illness, substance abuse or domestic violence. Lisa combines this experience in her current practice to assist you on your path to Wellness & Health.
She brings creativity to her practice with the alchemy of gluten-free baking, as well as creating personalized, individually designed oils containing Chinese herbs and essential oils. Lisa educates and consults with the community on wellness, nutrition, gluten-free baking, preventative medicine, relaxation, and facial rejuvenation. She treats a variety of conditions including autoimmune & hormone imbalance; menstrual imbalances; emotional concerns; depression; anxiety; fatigue; respiratory, dietary and gastro-intestinal issues; and musculo-skeletal & orthopedic disorders. She offers cosmetic acupuncture/ facial rejuvenation to strengthen the surface along with the core.

Our Evanston location is near the intersection of Davis Street and Chicago Avenue.
Our Chicago location is near the southeast corner of North at Bell in Wicker Park.
