Five Element Oils

Based on the Five Element Theory of Chinese Medicine; aspects of nature—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water—correlate to aspects of human personality. The theory poses that each of us have styles of being, inclination and gifts akin to the 5 Elements. Within us there is a particular element around which the others spin, the source from which our deepest impulses issue forth. This particular element is our type, that which initiates and forms our unique existence and experiences. Our emotions, behaviors and physical states shift and change. If you are frustrated or irritable, grab the Wood Elemental Oil. If you are worried or can't escape your thoughts, slather on the Earth Elemental Oil.

Through application of your core Elemental Oil or through application of any of the five oils based on your state of body, mind or emotion, you can bring yourself back to balance.
